Welcome To Our Web Site
We are a small group of UHF users in the Bunbury and surrounding district who use the repeater for general communication. We are used for general communication and are a community service available for rescues, searches and bushfires; and are used for such on a regular basis. We are a non profit group that doesn't receive any financial support from the government. Proceeds from our membership subscriptions and fundraising goes towards the maintenance and licensing of our repeater. |

The Annual General Meeting of the group was held at the CWA Rooms on the corner of Hamilton Road and Hale Street, Eaton on Sunday 17th September 2006. The positions of President, Vice President, Secretary/Treasurer and committee re-elected with the edition of Lloyd to the committee. A raffle was conducted to raise funds for upkeep of the group repeater. |

Information regarding .....
UHF handheld. Parents, please be aware that these type of handheld communications that your children use are not 'walkie-talkies', but are like CB's in that they can access adult conversations. They can also access the 'Truckie' channels and Repeaters. We would like you to listen on these UHF radios for at least 18hrs to hear what your children are hearing. They should be used under supervision. The Channel Two Repeater is used as an emergency channnel and is used as such quite often, there are hefty fines for those interfering in an emergency. Channel Two is monitored on a regular basis by ACMA. For rules and regulations on the use of these radios please use the link from this site to the ACMA website. http://www.acma.gov.au/ACMAINTER.2163012:LANDING:1668308762:pc=ACMA,tlp=ACMA
